Rajasthan Food and Civil Supplies Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas protested on Thursday against rising inflation and hike in petrol and diesel prices. During this, he reiterated the moral values of Congress and said that Congress will die but will not tolerate ‘atrocities’ on the country.
Ashok Gehlot’s minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas said the BJP has won the assembly elections in four states by “lying, misleading the people”. But as soon as the election results came out, the prices of fuel and gas started increasing. Let us inform that Khachariyawas had participated in a protest organized by the Jaipur unit of Congress at the Collectorate Circle. During this he said these things.
Khachariyawas along with his supporters had arrived in a horse cart to protest against the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. He said, “The situation in the country is not right. Inflation is at its peak. Earlier the BJP government reduced by Rs 100-150 on gas cylinders and by Rs 7-8 on petrol and diesel. Till the time the elections went on, people were fooled and won the elections. Now the prices are going up.”
He said that if inflation continues to rise like this, people will stop using motorcycles and cars. Accusing the BJP, he said that BJP leaders do politics of lies and deceit. He has betrayed the country. After the elections, the government has started increasing the prices of fuel and gas. Congress will die but will not tolerate atrocities on the country.
The minister said that the BJP targets the Gandhi family, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot but it stabs people in the back by raising the prices of fuel and gas. He said that the Modi government has broken all the records of inflation. Their job is only to divide people in the name of religion. They get votes by making Hindus and Muslims. But they don’t talk about jobs and food.
The minister said that this movement against inflation started from the streets of Jaipur and under this, “today there is dharna demonstration in eight assembly constituencies and burning of effigy of Prime Minister Modi, this movement will continue continuously”.
