A SpiceJet plane had to land due to a technical fault. According to the information, during the cruise on the plane flying from Kandla to Mumbai, the outer part of the windshield was broken, due to which the plane was landed.

To this, a SpiceJet spokesperson said, “SpiceDate was operating Q400 aircraft SG 3324 (Kandla-Mumbai) on July 5, 2022. Meanwhile at FL 230 there was a crack in the P2 side windshield outer pane. However, the aircraft landed safely in Mumbai.”

Let us tell you that this is the second case of malfunction in SpiceJet’s aircraft today. Earlier in the afternoon, a flight going from Delhi to Dubai had made a safe landing in Karachi, Pakistan. This landing was done due to lack of fuel in the SpiceJet B-737 aircraft.

The DGCA issued a statement saying that in view of the ever-decreasing fuel volume, the PIC decided to divert the aircraft to Karachi. The aircraft was diverted in coordination with ATC and landed safely in Karachi. The DGCA has ordered an inquiry into the incident. More than 150 people were on board the plane.

Let us tell you that in the last one month, the case of malfunctioning of SpiceJet aircraft has come to the fore several times. Three days ago, on Saturday, a Jabalpur-bound SpiceJet flight returned to Delhi. During the flight, smoke filled the plane’s cabin at an altitude of 5,000 feet. The DGCA later said that the smoke was caused by an oil leak in one of the engines of the Q-400 aircraft.

At the same time, in June, the fire broke out only after the SpiceJet plane took off. The plane was flying from Patna airport to Delhi when the plane caught fire. The plane made an emergency landing. There were 185 passengers on board during that time. People are raising questions about safety on social media due to such incidents coming to the fore in SpiceJet aircraft.
