The national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, Rakesh Tikait, who has often targeted the central government, is now seen with a change. In fact, before the election, Rakesh Tikait was watching BJP away from power, but now he says that the workers of Kisan Union have also voted for BJP.
Talking to a digital news channel Rakesh Tikait said, Vote is a free right of the people. We have never told anyone who to vote for and who should not. We are non political people. We tell the lack of governments to the public. We don’t care about votes. Vote where he lives.
Regarding the arrest of 10 workers of Bharatiya Kisan Union, Rakesh Tikait said that those who have been arrested, those people also voted for BJP. BJP people had also called to rescue him. But they belonged to the workers union.
Let us inform that 10 people were arrested after a clash at the district hospital in Muzaffarnagar. In protest against which Rakesh Tikait also staged a sit-in at the Kotwali police station on Tuesday morning. Regarding this, Tikait said that among those arrested are people who voted for BJP.
On relations with political parties, Rakesh Tikait said that we have no relation with any party. We mean the central or state government. And the governments of the state and the center are not of any one, they belong to the common people. On the other hand, about going with any party in 2024, he said that we will not go with anyone. We are non-political people, we speak our mind.
Apart from this, Rakesh Tikait said on the threats he received himself, “People talk about abusing and killing us by threatening us. They say that we should not agitate.” Rakesh Tikait said, “We have given 16 applications in this case in Ghaziabad. We have given some in Muzaffarnagar also. Some crazy people are making such threats.”
