India Meteorological Department (IMD) says that there is a possibility of very heavy rain in Mumbai, Kalyan, Thane and Navi Mumbai till 1 pm today, while one person has died due to rain in Vasai, while in Pune. Red alert has been issued. Badrinath road has been closed due to landslide caused by heavy rains in Uttarakhand. In Himachal Pradesh’s Manali, the bus stand was washed away due to heavy rains. Earlier on Tuesday, due to heavy rains, railway tracks were washed away at many places in Gujarat. Due to which the operation of trains there also stopped. Relief and rescue teams were also deployed in some areas of Gujarat and Maharashtra. It rained so much in Gujarat that water entered the government hospital in Rajkot.

State emergency situation in Gujarat
Gujarat has been raining heavily for the last two-three days, during the last 24 hours 6 people died due to rain. According to Zee News, State Disaster Management Minister Rajendra Trivedi told that a total of 27,896 people have been evacuated from the flood-affected areas in Gujarat. Of these, 18,225 are still in refugee camps and the rest have returned to their homes. According to officials, heavy rains are continuing in many districts of South Gujarat, while some areas of Kutch and Rajkot in Saurashtra region have been receiving heavy rains since Monday night. According to the ‘State Emergency Operation Center’ (SEOC), Anjar taluka of Kutch has received 167 mm of rain in six hours since 6 am on Tuesday.
