West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar will be the Vice Presidential candidate from the NDA side. After the announcement of the names of the candidates, AIADMK said that it will support Jagdeep Dhankhar. On Sunday, AIADMK leader M Thambi Durai said, “Our party will support the NDA’s vice presidential candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar. Just like we have announced our support for NDA’s presidential candidate.”
BJD, YSRCP expressed support: At the same time, YSRCP has also decided to support the NDA candidate only. “Our leader Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to support NDA’s Vice Presidential candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar,” party leader Vijayasai Reddy told news agency PTI on Sunday. Earlier on Saturday, with the announcement of Jagdeep Dhankhar’s candidature, the Bihar Chief Minister expressed his party JDU’s support for the NDA’s vice-presidential candidate and West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar.
