Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan faced opposition from two Youth Congress workers on a flight. In fact, KS Sabrinathan, State Vice President of Youth Congress and former MLA has shared a video on social media. It can be seen in the video that a man pushed Congress workers on board the flight after they protested.
In fact, on Monday, CM Vijayan was going from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram by flight. According to the allegation, when Congress workers demanded their resignation on the flight, senior CPI(M) leader and LDF convener EP Jayarajan, who was present with the CM, pushed them.
In a Facebook post, where Sabrinathan alleged that a CPI(M) leader pushed him down, a CPI(M) leader also accused the Congress of trying to attack CM Vijayan by a Youth Congress worker inside the flight.
Why have to face opposition: In fact, CM Pinarayi Vijayan seems to be surrounded by the gold smuggling case. The main accused in this case, Swapna Suresh, accused Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his family of taking cash. Since then Congress and BJP workers have been opposing CM Vijayan.
Slogans also took place: In the gold smuggling case, the opposition parties are unitingly pressurizing Pinarayi to resign. In such a situation, the CM of Kerala had to face opposition in a flight on Monday as well. Two youth Congress workers allegedly raised slogans demanding their resignations.
Significantly, the main accused of gold smuggling, Swapna Suresh, had revealed last week that Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his wife and their daughter were instrumental in smuggling the currency into gold. At the same time, due to the increasing protests, the state government has banned people from wearing black clothes or masks in any function presided over by CM Vijayan.
