Domestic airline IndiGo has placed new orders to further expand its fleet. The airline has placed orders for 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Delivery of these aircraft is to take place from 2027. According to the news, India’s largest airline Indigo is one of the largest budget airlines in the world in terms of number of passengers. IndiGo has strongly signaled its intentions with this order. A350 aircraft is quite modern
The Airbus statement also highlighted that the A350 aircraft is the most modern and efficient wide-body aircraft in the 300-410 seater category. The order underlines IndiGo’s strategic move to expand its fleet and capture a larger share in the lucrative international travel market. IndiGo airline had announced on April 25, 2024 that it has agreed to the order.
