Moeen Ali has reached the team hotel late due to delay in getting visa and according to the IPL Quarantine Rules, Moeen Ali will have to stay in isolation for at least three days, after that he can join the team. Moin has reached the team hotel on March 24 and will be in quarantine for three days, which means he will not be available for selection in the match against KKR on March 26. He will play in the team’s second match.
Moeen Ali was one of the players retained by Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021, taking 6 wickets with 357 wickets. He was retained by CSK for Rs 8 crore. Apart from this, Chennai retained Ravindra Jadeja, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rituraj Gaikwad.
