Expansion
England’s explosive batsman Jason Roy on Tuesday withdrew his name from IPL 2022. He cited personal reasons for this. Jason was bought by Gujarat Titans in the mega auction this year for his base price of Rs 2 crore. Jason has made a tweet about not playing and has also mentioned Hardik Pandya’s name in it.
Jason Roy wrote in the tweet – High to all, especially Gujarat Titans fans and squad. With a heavy heart, I have decided not to play IPL this year. I would like to thank the management and captain of Gujarat Titans, Hardik Pandya. He put his trust in me and bought me in the auction. However, what is happening in this world for the last three years has left an impact on me.
