In this match, Sunrisers Hyderabad team, batting first, made an impossible score of 277 runs at the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. After this, while chasing the target, a great batting performance was also seen from the Mumbai Indians team but they had to face defeat by 31 runs. Now team captain Hardik Pandya is facing the most criticism in this defeat, who was successful in scoring only 24 runs in 20 balls in this match.
Strike rate of rest of Mumbai batsmen is beyond 180, Hardik is only 120.
When Mumbai Indians team came out to chase the target of 278 runs in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma worked to give a fast start to the team in the opening match. Tim David, who came to bat after Hardik, also played an inning of 42 runs with a strike rate of 211.76.
Irfan Pathan also raised questions by tweeting
Former Indian player Irfan Pathan also raised questions regarding Hardik Pandya’s slow batting by tweeting in which he wrote that while on one hand the rest of the batsmen of the team are scoring runs with a strike rate of 200 or more, then in that situation the captain of the team Can’t score runs with a strike rate of 120.
