East Central Railway has decided to increase the prices of food items in trains passing through its jurisdiction. IRCTC Regional General Manager Rajesh Kumar said that both the quality and quantity of the food has been improved, due to which the food items have been increased. All dishes including roti, dal, dosa, sandwich have become expensive.

Food costlier in trains
IRCTC has increased the price of every dish in the trains, but there is news of relief that the prices of food items available on the food stock at the stations have been kept constant. IRCTC has increased the prices of each dish from Rs 2 to Rs 25 in trains passing through East Central Railway. Different rates have been increased in the prices of different things. IRCTC has issued a list of 70 items, whose prices have been changed.
