Tesla CEO Elon Musk can now expand into the social media arena after space and automobiles. He told that he is thinking about it. Actually, he had asked a question whether Twitter adheres to the freedom of speech. A poll was also released by Musk in this regard. The special thing is that Musk is very active on social media platforms.
A user on Twitter asked Musk if he was looking at creating a new social media platform where “freedom of speech will be given priority”. Where propaganda is ‘very little’. To this the Tesla CEO replied, ‘I am seriously considering it.’ Musk also appealed to users to vote seriously on the poll, because ‘the results of the poll will be very important’.
However, 70 percent of the people voted against on this poll. The special thing is that many platforms that claim to be big names in the field of free speech failed to get the same popularity as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. These include the names of many platforms like Truth Social, Getter, Parlor and Ku of former US President Donald Trump.
In the year 2020, the then head of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, spoke to Musk via teleconference. The special thing is that thousands of Twitter employees were found witnesses of this conversation of both. Here Dorsey asked Musk for suggestions for the platform.
