Ishan Kishan Career: Ishan Kishan played his last match for the Indian team in the year 2023. Since then he has been out of Team India. He was repeatedly asked to play domestic cricket but he kept refusing. He chose to play directly in the IPL instead of playing domestic cricket. He is also not included in the BCCI’s central contract. Perhaps Ishan has now changed his mood and he is ready to return to domestic cricket. He has been included in the list of 25 pre-season potential players by the Jharkhand State Cricket Association.

Will return to domestic cricket

According to a Cricbuzz report, 26-year-old Ishan Kishan has agreed to play for Jharkhand state for the upcoming domestic season. He may also get the captaincy of the state. Ishan has informed the Jharkhand State Cricket Association about his availability. He has captained the Indian team in Under-19. The report further states that Ishan has been convinced by his well-wishers and the selectors have talked to him. He has been advised to play domestic cricket.

Name was withdrawn from South Africa tour

Ishan Kishan had withdrawn his name from the South Africa tour. Then he had asked for a break from the BCCI. After this, coach Rahul Dravid had said that he would have to play domestic cricket to make a comeback. Ranji Trophy was going on then. But he did not agree to play for the Jharkhand team. Instead, he was seen training in a cricket academy with Hardik Pandya in Baroda.

Ishan Kishan made his debut for India in ODIs and T20s in the year 2021. He has played cricket in all three formats for Team India. He has scored 933 runs in 27 ODIs and 796 runs in 32 T20 International matches for India. He also has a double century to his name in ODI cricket. Apart from this, he has also played two Test matches for Team India.
