Israeli bombs rained down on Rafah camps.
Deir al-Balah (Gaza Strip): The Israeli army has started attacking southern Gaza more aggressively. Now the relief camps in Rafah have also come under its grip. The Israeli army on Friday launched a deadly attack on relief camps built for displaced Palestinians in the northern part of the city of Rafah. Israeli bombs kept raining on the relief camps for a long time, killing at least 45 people and injuring 50 others.
According to Reuters, Israeli forces attacked Rafah in southern Gaza as well as other areas of the enclave on Friday, killing at least 45 Palestinians. The Israeli army is fighting very closely with Hamas here. Local residents said that it seems that the Israeli army is trying to capture Rafah. Rafah is located on the border with Egypt and this place has been the center of Israeli attack since the beginning of May.
Israeli tanks enter Rafah
According to reports, Israeli tanks were forcing their way into the western and northern parts of the city. Earlier, they had captured the east and south center. Firing from planes, tanks and ships near the coast forced a large number of people to flee the city. The city had been sheltering more than 1 million displaced people for the past few months. Now most of the people have moved back from here. The Gaza Health Ministry said that at least 25 Palestinians were killed and 50 injured in Mawasi in western Rafah. Palestinians said that a tank shell fell on the tent of displaced families. (Reuters)
