Srinagar. Jammu and Kashmir Police along with Army’s 55RR and CRPF have busted a terror module of the banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Officials gave this information on Friday. During this, the security forces have also arrested three terrorist associates.
They have been identified as Owais Altaf, a resident of Jandwal, Aaqib Manzoor, a resident of Gudura, and Waseem Ahmed Pandit, a resident of Karimabad, Pulwama.
“Preliminary investigation has revealed that the three arrested terrorist associates were involved in providing logistics and transportation to the terrorists in the district,” the police said.
Incriminating material, arms and ammunition including one AK rifle, three magazines, 69 AK rounds and one grenade were also recovered from their possession.
Police have registered a case and further investigation is on in the matter.
