Bhubaneswar. Police have arrested 3 people of Indian origin in the case of murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau continues to allege that Indian agencies got Nijjar murdered. Canada has not been able to provide any evidence in this regard to India till now. The Modi government has consistently denied the involvement of Indian agencies in Nijjar’s murder. Now Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said in Bhubaneswar on Saturday that whatever is happening in Canada is due to its internal politics. He again said that India has nothing to do with the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
The alleged accused in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who have been arrested by Canada, are said to have links with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is jailed in India. Speaking to the media, Jaishankar said that a group of supporters of Khalistan is using Canada’s democracy. He said that these people are creating lobby in Canada and they have vote bank. Foreign Minister Jaishankar said that the party in power in Canada does not have majority and Justin Trudeau’s government is running there on the strength of pro-Khalistan leaders. The Foreign Minister said that it has been said many times that such people should not be given visa, legality or place in politics, who are creating problems in the relations between India and Canada, but Canada did not do anything in this regard.
Canadian police on Friday claimed to have arrested the alleged accused in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. According to Canadian Police, their names are Karan Brar, Kamalpreet Singh and Karanpreet Singh. All three live in Edmonton, Canada. All have been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. According to Canadian police, two of these students had arrived on visa, but had not taken admission anywhere in Canada. The special thing is that Hardeep Singh Nijjar was murdered in 2023 and the police there is talking about arresting the accused after a year. After his relationship with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi came to light, Canada’s claim that Indian agencies were involved in the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar is being proved wrong.
