According to the information, the helicopter was on a regular flight in Tulail area of Gurez. During this time he lost contact with the air traffic control. Later, when it was learned that the helicopter had crashed, the Indian Army and Air Force immediately sent a rescue team to the area.
Let us tell you that the Cheetah is a single engine helicopter, which does not have key features like moving map display, ground proximity warning system and weather radar. It also does not have an autopilot system, which creates a lot of trouble for the pilot in bad weather. The Army currently has a fleet of 200 Cheetah helicopters.
