It is worth noting that Manzoor Ahmed is the second civilian to be shot dead by terrorists in three days. Earlier on Wednesday, local Satish Singh was killed by terrorists in Kulgam district. Giving a statement on the incident, officials had said that attacks on civilians by terrorists have increased in the last two weeks. At present, the police is taking further action by registering a case under the relevant sections of the law in the case of the sarpanch’s murder.
