Jamtara/Deoghar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Congress and alleged that the country’s oldest party sees Jharkhand as an “ATM of corruption”. He also alleged that the Congress and Hemant Soren’s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) are competing with each other on corruption in the state. “For the Congress, Jharkhand is its vote bank, property, land bank and ATM of corruption. Corrupt JMM leaders, including Hemant Soren, are sitting in the lap of the Congress,” Home Minister Shah said while addressing a rally here.
Freed the country from Naxalites
He claimed that Prime Minister Modi not only freed the entire country, including Jharkhand’s Budha Pahad, from Naxals but also did “justice to the tribals”. “During the Sonia-Manmohan regime, the budget for tribals was barely Rs 25,000 crore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has increased this budget to Rs 1.25 lakh crore in 10 years,” he said. The senior BJP leader alleged that cattle smuggling was going on on a large scale in Jharkhand. Amit Shah was campaigning for BJP candidate Sita Soren, who is contesting from the Dumka Lok Sabha seat.
Indy alliance has no leader, no policy, no intention
Later, while addressing an election rally in Deoghar, he attacked the opposition alliance ‘India’ and claimed that it has no ‘leader, policy or intention’ and only Narendra Modi is suitable to become the Prime Minister of the country. Amit Shah also alleged that the leaders of the ‘India’ alliance are in favor of dynastic politics.
Lalu wants his son to become CM
Amit Shah said, “Lalu Prasad wants his son to become the Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray wants his son to become the Chief Minister, Sharad Pawar wants his daughter to become the Chief Minister, Mamta Didi wants her nephew to become the Chief Minister, Stalin wants his son to become the Chief Minister and Sonia Gandhi wants her son Rahul Gandhi to become the Prime Minister.” He said that the BJP will end the reservation given to Muslims and hand it over to the Scheduled Castes-Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (OBC).
