Jammu. Terrorist incident could be the reason for the fire in a passenger bus in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is probing this case, believes this. According to NIA sources, circumstances indicate that the blast was carried out with a sticky bomb. Earlier, the police had claimed that the reason behind the fire in the bus was not a bomb. On Saturday, a team of NIA experts reached the spot and took samples. The team did a thorough investigation for about two hours. Apart from this, information was also collected from the local police.
After examining the sample for the NIA team, it will be known whether the bomb was fitted in the bus or not. This bus going from Katra to Jammu had lasted only a few kilometers. when it caught fire. Four people died in this fire and 26 passengers were burnt. Some passengers said they had heard a loud bang before the fire broke out. However, ADGP Mukesh Singh said that in the preliminary investigation, no bomb or explosive has been found. Now NIA sources say that this incident can also be done with sticky bombs.
Meanwhile, the bodies of two women Meena Devi and Lakshmi, who were among those who died in the fire in the bus, were sent to their homes. Meena’s house is in Magal Pamota village of Katra. Whereas, Laxmi’s house is in Barabanki, UP. Out of the injured admitted in GMC Hospital, 5 were also discharged. Treatment of 21 people is going on right here. Many children are also among the injured. 20 people of a family were in the bus. Most of them have been injured.
