New Delhi. Yasin Malik, the chief of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front JKLF, which was another name of terror in Jammu and Kashmir in the 1990s, has confessed the charges against himself related to terrorism in the court of National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Delhi. Many cases are also registered against Yasin Malik in Delhi High Court. Now on May 19, there will be an examination between the government and his lawyer on the sentence of Yasin Malik and then Special NIA Judge Praveen Singh will pronounce the sentence. In this case, Yasin can also get life imprisonment. He will be the master of big terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir, who will be punished in the case of terrorism. Yasin had killed 4 Air Force officers and kidnapped Rubia, daughter of Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, and got 5 terrorists released from jail.
Regarding Malik’s confession, sources said that he told the court that he would not challenge the charges against him. Malik has been charged with Section 16, Section 17, Section 18 and Section 20 of IPC. That is, terrorism is a case of law, funding, conspiracy and being a member of a terrorist gang. Apart from this, NIA has also charged him with UAPA, criminal conspiracy and sedition. Apart from Yasin, the court has also framed charges against some other terrorists.
The other terrorists against whom the special judge has framed charges are Farooq Ahmed Dar alias Bitta Karate, Shabbir Shah, Masarat Alam, Mohammad Yusuf Shah, Aftab Ahmed Shah, Altaf Ahmed Shah, Naeem Khan, Mohammad Akbar Khande, Raja Mehrajuddin Kalwal, Bashir Ahmed Butt, Zahoor Ahmed Shah Watali, Shabir Ahmed Shah, Abdul Rashid Sheikh and Naval Kishore Kapoor. Apart from these, the chargesheet has also been filed in the court against Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed and Hizbul Mujahideen’s Syed Salauddin. Hafiz Saeed and Syed Salahuddin are in Pakistan.
