An incident of stone pelting by a mob at Old Hubli Police Station in Hubli, Karnataka has come to light, in which 4 policemen including an inspector have been injured. Police Commissioner Labhuram said that Section 144 has been imposed in the entire city. The situation is under control.
Stone pelting on Hanuman Jayanti procession in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri, many injured
At the same time, many people were injured in violence and stone pelting between two groups during Hanuman Jayanti procession in Jahangirpuri area of North West district of the national capital on Saturday. Police said those injured in the violence have been admitted to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital in Jahangirpuri. Several policemen have been injured in the violence.

Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana has tweeted about the incident. “The situation is completely under control in the incident in North West district. Adequate number of additional police forces have been deployed in Jahangirpuri and other sensitive areas,” he said. Higher police officers have been instructed to do intensive patrolling in the area and keep a constant vigil on the situation.
