Hubli. Hubli-Dharwad Police Commissioner Labhu Ram said that after the communal violence, everything is normal in Hubballi, Karnataka. The curfew imposed in the city has been lifted. Curfew was imposed in the city on 16 April following large-scale violence over the objectionable post. 138 people have been arrested in this case.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday said that the state government has taken the incident seriously. Strict action has been taken regarding the conspiracy and planned attack on the police station.
He said that the organisations, individuals behind the incident will not be spared. He said that the statements of the arrested people have been recorded in this regard.
