New Delhi. After the death of contractor Santosh Patil in Karnataka, the politics of the state has heated up. Belagavi contractor Santosh Patil was found dead in a hotel in Udupi on Tuesday. According to the police, the body of Santosh Patil was found in a room of the private lodge. It is being told that Santosh Patil’s friends were also staying next to this room. At the same time, the allegation of the death of Santosh Patil is being leveled on KS Eshwarappa, a minister in the Karnataka government. Eshwarappa, Minister of State for Rural Development and Panchayats, was accused by Santosh Patil of demanding 40 per cent commission. At the same time, during this time one more thing has come to the fore that in his alleged WhatsApp message, Santosh Patil held the minister responsible for his death. After the news of Santosh Patil’s death surfaced, the Congress has become an attacker on the BJP government of the state and is demanding the resignation of Minister Eshwarappa in this matter.
The reaction of Congress’s allegation minister Eshwarappa has come to the fore. Talking to the media, he has refuted the allegation of Congress. Eshwarappa told that, “He did not know the deceased. I had filed a defamation case against the person who had accused me (of corruption). He should have fought in court, I have nothing to do with his (contractor Santosh Patil’s) suicide. I have not met him, there is no question of my resignation.”

On the other hand, the Congress party attacked Eshwarappa over the death of Santosh Patil. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has attacked the Karnataka government for allegedly committing suicide by a contractor. Rahul Gandhi tweeted and wrote, In Karnataka, the government with 40 percent commission took the life of its own worker. He further said that there was no response even after the victim pleaded with the PM. Rahul Gandhi also accused PM Modi and CM of having met.
