New Delhi. These days devotees from all over the country are going to Uttarakhand for Chardham Yatra. In such a situation, the maximum crowd is of pilgrims going to Kedarnath. Devotees have not been able to come here due to Corona for the last two-three years. But now after Corona, there is a crowd of devotees for the darshan of Baba Kedranath. Now this crowd has become a cause of trouble for the devotees and the administration. Due to overcrowding, 28 people have died during the last one week. However, the state government has attributed the death of these people to heart attack. After all this, now the Dhami government of the state has banned VIP Darshan for Chardham Yatra.

In view of the increasing crowd, the state government has said to ban VIP darshan and to issue a written order soon. In fact, due to the increasing crowd and the death of devotees since the last days, questions were being raised on the preparations of the government. Kedarnath is getting the biggest crowd out of the Char Dhams. When talking to Uttarakhand Chief Secretary SS Sandhu about the arrangements for Chardham Yatra, he told that NDRF personnel have been deployed for the first time for Chardham Yatra.
