New Delhi, Congress Party President Mallikarjun Kharge and all the big leaders of the India Alliance have been repeatedly alleging that there are irregularities in giving information about vote percentage. Now a letter has also been written to Kharge on behalf of the Election Commission in this matter. The Election Commission rejected the allegations of irregularities in voter turn-out and suggested Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to avoid making such statements. The Election Commission said that excerpts from the public letter on voter turn-out by the Indi alliance parties are creating confusion among the voters.
Mallikarjun Kharge had raised the question as to why the Election Commission was delaying in releasing the turnout figures after the votes were cast. Allegations of rigging were also made in this. Now the Election Commission’s letter said that there has been no delay in releasing the voting percentage. The voting percentage has been updated in the same manner earlier also. The voting percentage is continuously updated on the voter turn-out app. The final figures of voting percentage increase even after 7 pm on the voting day due to many reasons.
