Kia Electric Car EV6: The increasing demand for EVs in the Indian car market is continuously opening avenues for the companies in this segment, one after the other vehicle company is moving in this direction by introducing its electric car. In this sequence, Kia India has filed a trademark for the EV6 electric car, after which there are speculations about the launch of this car in India.
EV6 introduced last year
While the Kia EV6 made its global debut in March last year, the company is planning to launch 7 electric vehicles by 2027. The EV6 is an all-electric crossover powered by the Hyundai Group’s Electric Global Modular Platform (e-GMP). While Kia India is yet to comment on the launch of the Kia EV6 in India, it is expected that this will be Kia’s first electric car in the Indian market.
Will run 739km in a single charge
A 77.4 kWh battery pack will be used in this futuristic EV from Kia, which powers the electric motor. Its output will be 225bhp and 350Nm. Talking about the speed, it will be able to catch the speed of 0-100 km / h in 7.3 seconds. Regarding the driving range of Kia EV6, it has been claimed that it can cover a distance of up to 739km on a single charge.

Will be launched in three variants
The Kia EV6 uses ‘Opposites United’ design language, which is based on Bold for Nature, Joy for Reason, Power to Progress, Technology for Life and Tension for Serenity. Interestingly, the Kia EV6 is sold internationally in three grades – Light, Wind and GT-Line, and it is likely that Kia will launch these variants in the Indian market, among other names.
