North Korean dictator Kim Jong has banned the country’s citizens from laughing, drinking and shopping for 11 days. He issued this order on the 10th death anniversary of Kim Jong’s father, Kim Jong Il. National mourning has been declared in the country for the next 11 days from Friday. Radio Free Asia, which reports North Korea, quoted Seiniju citizens living close to the North Korean border as saying that during these 11 days one cannot even go to the market to buy necessities of life. There is also a decree of severe punishment for those who break the rules.
A citizen told that even before this, people who were caught in a drunken state during the death anniversary of Kim Jong-il, would have been detained and after that they would disappear. Another citizen told that even if someone dies during this 11-day national mourning, his family members will not even be allowed to cry. Apart from this, the funeral of the dead body will also not be done for the coming 11 days, nor will anyone be able to celebrate his birthday in the coming 11 days.
