Many people around the world are upset due to the war between Ukraine and Russia. Citizens of many countries are trapped in Ukraine due to the war and are making various efforts to return back to their country. In such a situation, continuous efforts are being made by the Government of India to bring back the students trapped in Ukraine under ‘Operation Ganga’. Meanwhile, a heartwarming incident has come to the fore. It is said that dog is man’s most loyal animal friend. He never leaves his master’s side. So in such a situation, we too should not turn our backs on our responsibility towards them. Kirtana, a fifth year medical student, did something similar. In fact, during the ongoing war in Ukraine, Kirtana was also caught in the atmosphere of war. Although she was not alone there, she was accompanied by her pet yellow ‘candy. Adi was on Kirtana’s insistence that Kandy would also go back with her. For this he considered it appropriate to leave his luggage and also four flights to India. Finally she reached Chennai on Saturday with her pet Candy.
According to the interview given to News ANI, Kirtna told that she had to cancel her flight four times. Because they did not have permission to bring a pet. Because of which he waited for two-three days. In the end, he got a call from the embassy that he had got permission to take his pet. However, for this he had to leave his belongings there. Kirtana told that she lived in a border area. Due to this he did not have to face much trouble as compared to other students.
