Athlete Neeraj Chopra, who won India’s gold medal in javelin throw the previous day, told everyone about his winning mantra in a press conference on Saturday. Neeraj said that he had already decided in his mind that he has to give his best in the initial attempts itself. By doing this, he can be successful in creating pressure on other players. As soon as he made the second throw, he knew that it was his best.
Talking about his rival German athlete Johannes Wetter, Neeraj said that he was also sad that his performance was not that great on this day. But it will still take them a long time to reach the level of waiter. But he doesn’t want to say anything about it. He just wants to give his best. Now he will try to set a record of 90 meters. After winning the medal, he started getting many good wishes from the people, due to which he could not even talk to his family till 9 o’clock in the night.
Neeraj said that he saw many videos of his village where people are busy celebrating. Neeraj told that javelin throw is a technical game. For this it is very important to be focused. During the entire time he was completely focused on his training. Due to which he has got the result of years of hard work in the form of gold medal. On getting gold for the first time in athletics, Neeraj said that gold keeps on coming in many sports in the country. India had brought gold in hockey too. But gold had not yet come in athletics, due to which it became necessary to bring gold this year.
