But even before launching its new electric scooter, an announcement from the company has increased the tension of the companies present in the market. According to the company, the company has got 78000 pre-orders even before the launch of the scooter that will be launched.
This news of 78000 pre-orders has forced companies like Ola, Hero Electric, TVS, Simple Energy, Ather Energy, Okinawa to rework their market planning.
According to KWH Bikes, in the first phase, the company will sell its electric scooter across 75 dealerships in different states of the country and in the second phase it will be expanded. The company will start the production of these electric scooters in the first month of 2023 itself.
KWH Bikes started the pre-booking of its electric scooter in February 2022, after which 78000 units of this scooter have been booked so far, which according to the company is a booking of Rs 1 thousand crore.
The company has not made any official announcement regarding the launch of the scooter but according to company sources, this scooter can be launched in January 2023. During this, the company is working on expanding its dealerships across the country while working on its expansion.
Giving information about its dealership, the company said that till now the company has established its dealership in Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, and Rajasthan, for which tie-ups have been done with the dealers there. .
Talking about the battery pack, range and features of the new electric scooter from KWH Bikes, according to reports, the company will use a lithium-ion battery pack in this electric scooter with a normal wall charger.
Talking about the range of the scooter, according to reports, once fully charged, this electric scooter will give a range of 120 to 150 km with a top speed of 75 to 80 km per hour.
