New Delhi. Delhi court has given big relief to former Vihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and other members of his family in the land-for-job scam case. On Friday the court granted him bail. The bail hearing of Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, Hema Yadav and Hridayanand Chaudhary was held in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court. Accepting his plea in the high-profile case, the court granted him interim bail. His bail application was accepted with a bond of Rs 1 lakh. It is noteworthy that Lalu Yadav and his family are continuously being attacked politically over the land-for-jobs scam.
Earlier on Friday, Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav reached Rouse Avenue Court together in a car for appearance. His bail plea was heard by Justice Vishal Gogane. The judge first took the attendance of all the accused present in the case. Amit Katyal, accused in the land-for-job scam case, appeared through video conferencing.
