New Delhi. It is said that anything in excess can be harmful. Something similar happened in Arunachal Pradesh where continuous torrential rains have become a disaster for the people. Due to heavy rains, a massive landslide occurred near the China border in which a large part of the highway was washed away. Due to this, contact with many border areas has been lost. Normal life is disrupted and a travel advisory has also been issued by the state government due to landslides. A video of the landslide is also going viral on social media.

In this regard, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that he is disturbed to know about the inconvenience caused to the passengers due to the extensive damage to the highway between Hunli and Anini due to landslides. In this regard, instructions have been issued to the concerned authorities to restore connectivity as soon as possible as this road connects Dibang Valley with the rest of the country. A large part of the National Highway NH-33 was hit by a landslide.
NH-33 National Highway is very important for the people as well as the army because through it one can reach remote areas along the China border. Now connectivity to many areas has been lost due to landslides. The state government has said that due to rain, there is a problem in repairing the highway. It may take three to four days for the highway to become operational. At present the scene is that the rain water is flowing like a river on the road and where landslides have occurred, the water is seen falling down at a high speed like a waterfall falling down from the height of the mountains. It can be estimated from the video how dire the situation will be.
