Alwar . Naugawan police station has arrested a 60-year-old old man who came out to supply a large consignment of illegal weapons on a bike. From whom 13 country-made pistols of 315 bore, one gun, 12 bore one drain and two and a half 315 bore have been recovered.
Alwar SP Tejaswani Gautam said that the arrested accused Kala Singh alias Kali son Bakhtawar Singh (60) is a resident of Chhapar village of Thana Sikri in Bharatpur district. The accused had gone out to supply illegal weapons from Sikri to Mewat area of Alwar. Which was arrested by the Naugawan police station on the information of the informer.
SP Gautam said that 8 cases have been registered against the accused in the past as well. Most of which are under the Arms Act. The arrested smuggler is being intensively interrogated. Due to which, soon there is a possibility of big disclosure regarding the supply of illegal arms. Head constable Bharat Singh of Naugaowa police station played an important role in this action. Who helped in recovering such a large quantity of illegal arms by collecting information through their contact details and other means.
