Jagdalpur. On Thursday, the District Advocates Association boycotted all the revenue courts of the district in the case of assault between advocates and revenue officers and employees in the Tehsil office in Raigarh. A symbolic protest was held in the court premises. The officers of the union lodged a written complaint demanding registration of a case against the revenue officer of the City Kotwali.
It is to be known that on February 11 in Raigad, a complaint was made by the Tehsil office Raigarh to the police station Chakradharnagar, accusing the lawyers of abusing and abusing the assistant grade-3 of the Tehsil office and other persons. After this, an offense was registered against the accused advocates under the Atrocity Act. After this incident, the Advocates Association and Junior Administrative Officers Association came face to face across the state.
After the incident of assault in the Tehsil office, a video is becoming increasingly viral in the internet media. It is worth mentioning that the aggrieved advocates started a protest in front of the Tehsil office on Friday, opening a front against the Tehsildar, due to the misbehavior of an advocate in the Tehsil office located at the district headquarters and forcibly thrown him out of the office. The Advocates Association of the state has also continued to protest fiercely in the matter. Advocates have alleged that there is huge corruption in the revenue court of the state. This situation is not only in Raigad Revenue Court but everywhere. Bids are held and judgments are sold in the Revenue Court. People’s feelings, justice and decisions are bought and sold. In this sequence, Bastar District Advocates Association has also held a one-day symbolic protest on Thursday.
President of Bastar District Advocates Association Vinay Chandra Joshi said that the above incident is condemnable and revenue courts are being boycotted. Advocate colleagues have been misbehaved by the Tehsildar, they are being implicated by filing a false report. Not only this, the Provincial President of the Administrative Officers Association has told the advocates in the Internet media about the first step of corruption and from this the corruption started.
National Lok Adalat also decided to boycott
The Advocates Association is angry with all these things. A one-day protest is being held regarding all these things. The union is demanding that an FIR should be registered against the provincial president. In this sequence, it has also been decided to boycott the National Lok Adalat to be held on March 12. The Sangh organized a one-day symbolic dharna in the court premises. After this, a written complaint was lodged after reaching City Kotwali.
