Waseem Rizvi, former chairman of the Shia Central Waqf Board, finally left Islam and converted to Hinduism. One of the prominent Muslim leaders of Uttar Pradesh, Waseem Rizvi has left Islam to become a Hindu today. Yeti Narasimhanand Saraswati got him converted in Ghaziabad. Waseem Rizvi said that every Friday there is an increase of reward on my head, so today he is going to adopt Sanatan Dharma. According to the information received, Rizvi had converted to Hinduism today (Monday- 6-12-2021) at 10.30 am at Dashna Devi temple in Ghaziabad. Yeti Narasimhananda Giri Maharaj welcomed him into Hinduism with full religious rites.
Wasim Rizvi had announced his will a few days back. In which he announced that he should not be buried after death, but he should be cremated according to Hindu customs. Rizvi said in a video, “Conspiracies are being made to kill me and cut my neck. My only crime is that I have challenged 26 verses of the Quran in the Supreme Court. Muslims want to kill me and they have announced.” That they will not give me a place in the cemetery. Therefore, after my death, I should be cremated.”
Wasim Rizvi said on this occasion, ‘It is not about conversion. When I was expelled from Islam, it was my choice which religion to accept. Sanatan Dharma is the first religion in the world, it has more good things than any other religion. Wasim Rizvi had earlier announced that he would leave Islam and join Sanatan Dharma on Monday. On this occasion, Yeti Narasimhanand Saraswati said that we are with Waseem Rizvi, Wasim Rizvi will join the Tyagi Samaj.
Waseem Rizvi is often targeted by fundamentalist Muslims. He had applied to the Supreme Court seeking removal of 26 verses from the Quran, which was rejected. Since then, Rizvi is being targeted by Muslim organizations. Muslim groups also say that Rizvi has nothing to do with Islam or the Shia community. Muslim organizations consider Rizvi to be an agent of anti-Muslim organizations.
