People have been given relief during the election season. On Wednesday (May 1), the government has reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 19. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder. Prices remain the same in all cities.
New prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai
After the reduction in prices, the price of commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 1745.50. Earlier it was Rs 1764.50. The price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Kolkata has come down to Rs 1859. Earlier it was available for Rs 1879. Here the price has reduced by Rs 20.
Apart from this, the price of commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai has increased to Rs 1698.50. Earlier it was Rs 1717.50. Commercial LPG cylinder is still the most expensive in Chennai among all the metros. Here the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has become Rs 1911, which was earlier Rs 1,930.
Let us tell you, earlier in April also, the government had given relief to the consumers of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders. At that time the price of commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 32.
There is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder
The price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder has been kept unchanged. The government had last reduced the cylinder price by Rs 100 on the occasion of Women’s Day. At present, a 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder is available in Delhi for Rs 803. It is available for Rs 840.50 in Lucknow, Rs 806.50 in Jaipur and Rs 811.50 in Gurugram.
