Pakistan Army officer Lt Col Laik Mirza was kidnapped by a terrorist organization. The body of Colonel Laik has been found in South-West Balochistan, Pakistan. According to reports in local media, the terrorist organization Baloch Liberation Army had claimed responsibility for the abduction of Lt Col Laik from Ziarat in Balochistan. Laiq Mirza’s body was found in the middle of mountains located in Harnai district and Ziarat. Pakistani security forces were continuously searching for him after his abduction.
Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bijenjo also confirmed the death of the armed forces officer and expressed grief over the terror incident, while there is no comment from the Pakistan Army on the incident so far. The BAP leader said that the purpose of this inhuman act is to create an atmosphere of terror panic in the sparsely populated area.

Was going with family when kidnapping happened
Laik, working in DHA Quetta, was abducted on Tuesday night, about 15 km from Ziarat. He was abducted when he was on his way to travel with his family, a Lewis official told foreign media that the terrorists took only Laik and his friend with them and left the rest of the members.

Terrorists first claimed kidnapping then killed
The militants allegedly blocked the road to Mangi Dam where they were checking the IDs of the people. Later a government official launched a search operation to recover the kidnappers. Earlier the terrorists announced the kidnapping of Baig and later claimed that they killed the officer.
