Tork Motors has announced the launch of its new bike in the electric motorcycle segment in India, Pune based electric vehicle manufacturer Torque will launch its upcoming electric motorcycle Kratos on 26 January this year through a virtual event. For which the official booking will also be started on the same day. That is, customers wishing to buy this electric motorcycle will be able to reserve an online order.
According to the company, the deliveries of the Kratos are expected to start around March this year. Let us tell you, this bike was introduced in September 2016. Which was expected to be priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Tork LIION, lithium-ion battery pack will be used in this bike. Which is said to have an efficiency rating of 90-96 percent. The company says that the larger battery pack given on the bike will be able to deliver more range on a single charge.
Company is doing testing for 6 years
Earlier known as Tork T6X, which the company has been producing for almost 6 years, Tork claims that the Kratos is the first indigenously designed and engineered motorcycle in the country to go on sale. At the same time, the Tork Kratos Electric Motorcycle Kratos is said to be the fifth working prototype of the T6X, which has been developed for the production line. This electric bike will be manufactured at the company’s plant in Chakan.

The first T6X prototype of the Tork T6X electric motorcycle was powered by a 6kW (peak power) DC axial flux motor that produced 27 Nm of torque. The company claimed that it would be able to deliver a range of 100 km on a single charge and had a top speed of 100 kmph. The battery of this bike can be charged up to 0-80 percent in an hour with a fast charger.
