About 230 chital deer have been kept for the food of the cheetahs in the big enclosure. Cheetahs will fill their stomach after eating these deer. In Africa and Namibia, cheetahs prey mostly on gazelle deer.
One of the cheetahs that have been brought to Kuno has been named Asha by PM Narendra Modi. In this squad there are 5 cheetahs female and 3 males. After this, 12 more cheetahs are yet to be brought from South Africa. After this 30 more cheetahs will be brought for the next 5 years. After breeding, after their number reaches 500, cheetahs will be kept in different sanctuaries of the country.
