A few years ago there was a film by Pankaj Tripathi ‘Kaagaz’ in which Pankaj Tripathi played the character of a person who was declared dead in the official paper even after being alive in real life and then in that film as alive. The struggle of the officially dead person to prove himself alive is shown. Now this story looks good on the film screen but if this story starts happening in real life then it is not possible to believe it. But one such strange case is being seen in Madhya Pradesh.
According to the information, a case has come to the fore in Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh where one such living person has been declared dead on official papers. Meherban, a resident of Devgarh village, has been demanding proof of his existence from the administration since 2013, but despite his many complaints, he has not been declared alive. In fact, this situation has arisen due to the negligence of the responsibilities in the village panchayat Devgarh of Bagli section.
Let us tell you that in the year 2013, Meherban was declared dead by the government employees in the family card. Because of this, he has been missing from the village for the last 8 years. After all, Meherbaan, who has suffered such a big mistake, is neither getting ration nor is getting the benefit of government schemes. Not only this, due to this mistake, he is also deprived of old age pension. Meherban has made several rounds of the Panchayat to rectify this mistake, but till now there has been no improvement in it.
It is worth mentioning that Meherban has neither land nor any other means of earning, nor due to old age he is not able to work anywhere, so he is now the only support in old age. . Meherban told that he had complained 3-3 times in the Gram Panchayat. Even this matter was informed on the helpline. At present, Meherbaan is seeking prayers for being alive on papers. Here, Omprakash Gram Sachiv told the reason behind this mistake as Mehraban’s absence from the village for many years. According to him, improvement work is going on in this matter, which will be rectified soon.
