New Delhi. Navneet Rana has been sent to jail by the Banda High Court till May 6. On Saturday, Mumbai Police arrested Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana. This arrest took place in the Hanuman Chalisa case. In fact, Rana had said in a threatening tone that she would read Hanuman Chalisa outside Uddhav Thackeray’s residence. Due to which there was an uproar in the political corridors. On the other hand, Shiv Sainiks had said that Matoshree i.e. Navneet Rana’s residence is like a temple for us and we will not tolerate its insult at any cost.
Let us inform that in the same case in the past, Shiv Sainiks had lodged a complaint with the police against Rana, after taking cognizance of which the Rana couple was arrested by the police on Saturday. Keep in mind that this arrest has been made on the Rana couple for increasing enmity on religious grounds under Section 153A. On Saturday, the Rana couple was arrested and reached Khar police station. Please tell that police custody was demanded regarding Rana, but the Banda High Court rejected it. But now the court has sent the Rana couple to custody on May 6. Police has registered a case against Navneet Rana under section 353 of IPC.

Navneet Rana is accused of interfering in the work of the government. On the other hand, Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil said that the Rana couple has been arrested in view of the attempt to incite riots on the pretext of Hanuman Chalisa. Now necessary action will be taken in this entire matter in the coming days.
