Mumbai The ongoing war between Uddhav Thackeray vs CM Eknath Shinde is taking new colors. In this episode, now Shinde has taken such a step, which can further increase his feud with Uddhav Thackeray. According to sources, CM Eknath has written a letter to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. It has been requested in this letter that Mahavikas Aghadi wants to withdraw the names of 12 MLCs nominated by the MVA. All these names were given to Koshyari by Uddhav Thackeray as CM. All of them were to be nominated to the Legislative Council from the quota of the Governor. However, the governor did not take any decision on this for two years. Now a list of new names will be given by Shinde and this is likely to intensify the war in Shiv Sena.
Among the 12 people whose names were recommended by Uddhav to be nominated for MLC as CM, apart from actors Urmila Matondkar and Eknath Khadse of NCP, Vijay Karanjkar, Nitin Patil, Chandrakant Raghuvanshi, Raju Shetty, Yashpal Bhinge, Singer Anand Shinde, Rajnitai Patil, Sachin Sawant, Anirudh Vankar and Muzaffar Hussain. Now CM Eknath Shinde’s latest letter has become a big hurdle in the way of all these becoming nominated MLCs. It is believed that Shinde’s request will be accepted by the Governor and soon the process of nominating 12 MLCs will start afresh.
On the other hand, there is a tussle between Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath in Maharashtra on the issue of Dussehra rally. Shiv Sena’s Dussehra rally is held every year at Shivaji Park in Dadar. It is Dussehra on October 5 and both Uddhav and Eknath Shinde claim to be the real Shiv Sena. In such a situation, questions are also being raised about who will hold the rally. At the same time, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar has suggested to Shinde that he should not take confrontation with Uddhav on this issue. Still, everyone’s eyes are on what action Shinde takes.
