It was started by MNS chief Raj Thackeray, but later Navneet Rana, an independent MP from Amravati in Maharashtra, also jumped into the issue. He decided to confront the Maharashtra government directly. After which she also had to face many problems and on 23 April Navneet Rana and her husband were arrested by Mumbai Police. He is still in jail. Now once again the troubles of MP Navneet Rana are not taking the name of lessening. Meanwhile, the BMC has issued a notice against him for allegedly illegal construction.
It has been said in the notice that on or after May 4, BMC will inspect Navneet Rana’s flat. If she is found guilty in this, then action will be taken to demolish her flat. Let us tell you that Navneet Rana and her husband were arrested on April 23 while reading Hanuman outside the house of Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. Since then he is in judicial custody and the High Court has also rejected his bail plea.
It is worth noting that an FIR has been registered against the Rana couple under Section 15A, 353 of the IPC along with Section 135 of the Bombay Act. Apart from this, a case of sedition has also been registered against him. Let us inform that the bail petition of Navneet Rana and her husband was heard on Monday, but the decision could not come. A hearing on the verdict is now expected on Wednesday.
