Mahashivratri Bank Holiday: The festival of Mahashivratri is celebrated with reverence and gaiety all over the country. This time this day is falling on 1 March 2022. On this occasion, there is a holiday in large parts of the country. Banks also remain closed. Banks have made special arrangements at ATMs to avoid inconvenience to customers during the festive season. Citizens residing in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram may note that the Bank Days will be closed. While talking about state wise, most of the other cities of states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Delhi, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Odisha and Himachal Pradesh are also there. Banks will remain closed. According to astrologers, the Mahashivratri festival will start at 3.16 am on Tuesday and will go on till 1 pm on Wednesday.
