Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex opened today at 72,476.65 points compared to the previous close of 72,664.47 points. In early trade, Sensex was seen trading at 72,227 with a decline of 0.57 percent or 413 points. In early trading, out of 30 shares of the Sensex pack, 5 shares were seen trading on the green mark and 25 shares were seen trading on the red mark. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty was seen trading at 21,941 points with a decline of 0.51 percent or 113 points. Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 11 shares were seen trading on the green mark, 38 shares on the red mark and 1 share was seen trading without any change.
There is a decline in these shares
Among the Nifty pack stocks, the biggest decline was in Tata Motors by 7.51 per cent, BPCL by 1.58 per cent, Hero Moto Corp by 1.34 per cent, JSW Steel by 1.34 per cent and SBI by 1.26 per cent. At the same time, Cipla recorded a rise of 5.77 percent, HDFC Life 1.59 percent, Britannia 0.80 percent, Eicher Motors 0.74 percent and Sun Pharma recorded a rise of 0.63 percent.
Situation of sectoral indices
Talking about sectoral indices, the biggest decline was recorded in Nifty Auto by 2.54 percent. Apart from this, 1.66 percent in Nifty Metal, 1.98 percent in Nifty PSU Bank, 1.29 percent in Nifty Oil and Gas, 0.06 percent in Nifty Midsmall Healthcare, 0.83 percent in Nifty Consumer Durables, 0.97 percent in Nifty Realty, 0.40 percent in Nifty Private Bank, Nifty Media declined by 0.77 per cent, Nifty IT by 0.48 per cent, Nifty FMCG by 0.45 per cent and Nifty Bank by 0.46 per cent. Only Nifty Pharma index saw a rise of 0.54 percent and Nifty Healthcare index saw a rise of 0.45 percent.
