Indian The stock market opened with a decline on Wednesday. Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex opened today with a decline of 73,225 points compared to the previous close of 73,511.85 points. In early trade, Sensex was seen trading at 73,156 with a decline of 0.45 percent or 343 points. In early trading, out of 30 Sensex shares, 7 shares were seen trading on the green mark and 23 shares were seen trading on the red mark. On the other hand, National Stock Exchange index Nifty was seen trading at 22,189 with a decline of 0.51 percent or 112 points in early trade. In early trading, out of 50 shares of Nifty, 7 shares were seen trading on green mark, 42 shares were seen on red mark and 1 share was seen trading without any change.
The biggest decline in these shares
The biggest decline in Nifty pack shares was seen in Dr Reddy’s by 4.23 per cent, Larsen & Toubro by 1.39 per cent, Apollo Hospital by 1.19 per cent, Asian Paint by 1.15 per cent and UltraTech Cement by 1.06 per cent. Apart from this, the highest rise was seen in Maruti by 0.56 percent, Reliance by 0.32 percent, Coal India by 0.26 percent, ITC by 0.23 percent and BPCL by 0.18 percent.
Situation of sectoral indices
Talking about sectoral indices, the biggest decline was in Nifty Consumer Durables by 1.32 per cent, Nifty Realty by 1.27 per cent, Nifty Pharma by 1.02 per cent, Nifty Bank by 0.18 per cent, Nifty Auto by 0.38 per cent, Nifty Financial Services by 0.25 per cent, Nifty FMCG A decline of 0.09 per cent was recorded in Nifty IT, 0.55 per cent in Nifty Media, 0.20 per cent in Nifty Private Bank and 0.92 per cent in Nifty Healthcare index. Apart from this, Nifty Oil and Gas saw a rise of 0.64 percent and Nifty Metal saw a rise of 0.08 percent.
