New Maruti Brezza (Expected Price : 8 to 10 Lakh)
The first car on this list will be the new Brezza. This car can be launched in April 2022. The new Maruti Brezza will come with an all-new cabin and redesigned exteriors. Which will be built on Suzuki’s global C-platform. Which also underlies the outgoing model. The new model will come with several segment first features like electric sunroof, 360 degree parking camera etc.
Maruti Jimny (Expected Price : 10 lakh)
Apart from this, Maruti Suzuki is also working on the LWB (long wheelbase) version of the Jimny off-roader SUV. This new model will primarily target the Indian market. However, it can also be launched in select international markets. Leaked media reports suggest that the Jimny will be based on the 5-door Sierra and have a 300 mm longer wheelbase.
New Mid-Size SUV (Expected price: 9 to 12Lakh)
Talking about the next car in this list, the company is also working on a new mid-size SUV, codenamed YFG, this car is likely to be launched in the third quarter of 2022. The new model will be jointly developed by Suzuki and Toyota. Toyota’s hybrid system will also be used in the new Maruti YFG mid-size SUV. It is reported that this mid-size SUV of Suzuki can be named Vitara.
New Coupe SUV YTB (Expected Price: 13 to 15 lakh)
The company is also preparing a coupe-style SUV for the Indian market, codenamed YTB. This new model will be slotted under the SUV under 4 metres. And it will be sold with the Brezza SUV. The new Maruti YTB Coupe SUV will be sold through the Nexa Premium dealership network. Which the company will prepare on the HEARTECT platform.
2022 Maruti Alto (Expected price: 3.50Lakh)
Along with this, Maruti is also planning to launch a new generation Alto hatchback this year, which will be based on the lightweight HEARTECT platform that underpins the S-Presso, the new Celerio and the WagonR. The spy images reveal that the new Maruti Alto 2022 will increase in size as it appears taller, wider and taller than the outgoing model.
Maruti Ertiga (Expected price: 8 lakh)
The last car on this list is the company’s popular 7 seater Ertiga, the new Ertiga will come with some changes in the exterior. This will include the new front grille along with the existing headlamps, bumpers, alloy wheels and taillamps. It is believed that the company can launch this car before June, which will use the same 1.5L petrol engine with mild hybrid technology.
