New Delhi: Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind President Maulana Arshad Madani expressed his strong reaction on the order of the Uttar Pradesh government clarifying the religious identity on the route of the Kanwar Yatra, calling it a new game of politics in the name of religion and said that this is a discriminatory and communal decision. This decision will give an opportunity to anti-national elements to take advantage and this new order is likely to cause serious damage to communal harmony. This violates the fundamental rights of citizens given in the Constitution.

Maulana Madani called a meeting of the legal team

Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has called a meeting of its legal team on Sunday in which the legal aspects of this unconstitutional and illegal order will be discussed. Maulana Arshad Madani said that earlier such an order was issued by the Muzaffarnagar administration. But now the official order of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has come out.

Maulana Madani made this claim

Maulana Madani said that so far we have received information that the managers or owners of many Dhabas and hotels who were Muslims have been forbidden from coming to work during the Kanwar Yatra. It is obvious that who can dare to violate the government order.

Maulana Madani gave this argument

Maulana Madani also said that all the citizens of the country have been given complete freedom in the Constitution to wear whatever they want, eat whatever they want, no one will interfere in their personal choice, because this is a matter of the fundamental rights of the citizens. It is clearly stated in the Constitution that no citizen of the country will be discriminated against on the basis of his religion, color and caste and every citizen will be treated equally. But in the behavior of the government and administration in the last few years, discrimination on the basis of religion has become a common thing, rather now it seems that the orders of the rulers are the Constitution.

Maulana Madani targeted the government

He said that it is very sad that at the time of formation of the government, oath is taken in the name of the constitution. But after taking the oath, the same constitution is kept aside. He said that we respect all religions and no religion in the world says that you should hate the followers of other religions. This is not the first Kanwar Yatra, this yatra has been going on for a long time. But it has never happened before that any citizen has been forced to reveal his religious identity, rather during the yatra it has been generally seen that Muslims have been organizing water and langar for the Kanwar pilgrims at various places.
