The demand for electric vehicles is increasing day by day, with companies all over the world introducing new models. While veteran players are entering the electric vehicle segment, the activation of startups is also being seen a lot. A French startup Mob-ion has unveiled its new electric scooter AM1, equipped with a very attractive look and powerful electric motor, advanced features and technology have been used in this scooter.
The AM1 is completely manufactured in France and meets industry standards. It is also claimed to be accredited by AFNOR which tests vehicles to the most stringent standards in the industry. It stands for the Association Française d’Normalisation and to receive this recognition at least 50 percent of its production must be in France. It is being told that about 70 percent of all the components of this electric scooter are produced in France.

How is the new Mob-ion AM1 Electric Scooter:
The AM1 is powered by a brushless electric motor which has a very low power output, which is said to give a power output of just 3 kW. This electric motor is placed under the saddle, which gets power from the removable battery. According to the report, this scooter gives a driving range of up to 140 km in a single charge.
The company claims that the battery takes two hours and thirty minutes to fully charge. The top speed of this scooter is 45kmph. In terms of features, the AM1 has been equipped with all the modern features expected in a battery powered scooter. This includes LED headlights, a GPS-navigation, reverse gear and anti-theft system with remote shutdown that can be connected to a smartphone. The company has also provided a digital instrument console which displays important information like battery level, range left, etc.

The Mob-ion electric scooter has been launched in France for the time being, which costs 3,582 Euro (approximately Rs 3.04 lakh). Much more expensive than most of the electric scooters sold in India. The company is also selling it for a monthly subscription fee of €99. Its total weight is just 92 kg and this scooter is capable of lifting up to 260 kg.
